It's like being paid to work a convention ...

I've been hired to work security at the Bristol Renaissance Faire for the Summer. It's not exactly a high paying job and it's only for 9 weeks, but it's better than no income AND it's a really cool job. I met with the head of security yesterday and as he described the sorts of things we'll be doing, it all sounded very familiar for some reason. Oh yes, I know why ... I've been on the staff of conventions for some years now!
