Query: Interest in book / media reviews?

I'm considering writing some basic reviews of books or A/V media here in my LJ. I'd like to know if there would be any interest in this. These would probably be unlocked posts since I would be including Amazon associate links to the reviewed items.

(Yeah, I can post reviews to Amazon, but most of those tend to be fairly useless.)

Good idea? Bad idea?
