Tired of being sick

Really, this can go away now. I've been up for about three hours and I'm already worn out. My fever hasn't been that bad -- no more than 100.8 that I've seen, but it is still leaving me bouncing between too hot and too cold.

Gah. I'm going back to bed for a while. At least the cats are happy with all the nap time.

Never underestimate the healing power of purring.

Most of the day I've had at least one cat near me, if not actually on me. When I went back to bed (again) around 17:00, Bella crawled under the covers between my ankles and stayed right there until Fran came home almost two hours later.

Go go healing purr power!

*hugs*

How much longer before you head to the doctor?

For this? I'm not. I could feel it lightly on Saturday evening, so it really didn't hit me until sometime on Sunday. I really am feeling better than I did yesterday I'm just very worn out, lack stamina, and have some of the symptoms left in reduced forms.

Now if I still felt today like I did yesterday I'd probably be calling my doctor by tomorrow, but since I'd have to have [livejournal.com profile] bookwurm drive me there that might make logistics somewhat interesting.

Nah, being out for two days didn't put much of a dent in my accrued sick time. Considering she's still recovering herself, my boss would not be hard to convince that I need time off to take you to the doctor. ;>

However, I'm very, very glad that I don't need to take you to the doctor. This seems to be an annoyingly draining bug rather than a particularly dangerous one.

Ick; I hope you feel better soon!

Thank you. I am feeling somewhat better, just really worn out.

Also, check out my post today; I reference you, and I need feedback, please.

OK, I'll comment over there. :)

Awww. Poor Dog!!

I'm sorry you're not feeling better yet, Sweetie!

Hopefully Bella and Lorenzo can offer some purr therapy during the napping.

Actually all three have been with me in different mixtures throughout the day, but of course Bella has been keeping me pinned the most. (Her benefit or mine, you be the judge!)

I stayed home from work today because of a sour stomach, a headache and a low-grade fever.
*sigh*

*hugs* Hope you're feeling better too!

I am. Still wish I could be home, but...
