Although they do have a lot of Sansa MP3 players and I could probably use a backup. They've also been putting up a lot of 0.5 TB SATA drives lately. I wouldn't mind risking a refurb for $1!

Woot is a website that usually does "one day, one deal" sorts of sales. They'll put something up at midnight and it will sell all day until it's either midnight again or it's sold out.

Today, they're having a "Woot-off" which means that they put up something ofr sale and when that's all sold out, they throw up something else. Usually refurbished electronics and whatnots, but sometimes there's good stuff.

Every now and again, they put up a "Random Bag of Crap." That's what they call it. For a buck. You can get 3 bags of crap IF you're lucky enough to get in on the deal when it goes up. These things go FAST. You never know what you're going to get in the box when it arrives, but it's always going to be worth more than just a buck.

Part of the fun of the Woot-off is trying to grab the Bag of Crap when it goes up. I haven't done it yet... but today I actually SAW the Bag of Crap and hit the "I Want It" button... just as the servers were crashing from overclicks. Happens all the time with the Bags of Crap - they expect it and it's part of the fun for everyone.
